Oh, you silly Limbecks:

"the minneapolis show wasn't all that bad, to be honest. i'm not a huge fan of the sound at the ascot room, but the forest ambience makes up for it. but then it loses it again because of the pointless barricade set up 3 feet in front of the stage. our shows don't get rowdy. maybe we should tell the clubs that before they set up 4 foot steel fences in front of the stage so the 100 or so people there won't rush the stage... they're not needed. silly, right?"
-- Patrick

I loved that show anyway.
So, I need to make a decision on a show. I'm going to Minneapolis next week and there are two shows while I am there on the same night. Which one should I ask my mom if I can go to?

Finch w/ Rx Bandits

OR

Limbeck, Steel Train, and Days Away

I am really in love with both the Rx Bandits AND Days Away. I would love to see either of them, I just can decide which. The Rx Bandits show might be more entertaining because there are so many of them and Days Away just got a new member so that's sort of sketchy, but...there would probably be 4 or 5 of us going and the Days Away show is $5 cheaper.

Suggestions, ideas?

Yeah, it's right. They're both fairly evil in their own way. After all, John Edwards is a contributing reason as to why there are no flu vaccines.

Also, people are calling my last entry a sore loser speech, but it's not. It's more of an angry rant about the whole government setup for elections; especially the two-party system, and how, because of those flaws, Bush is anything but a "clear winner."

I think that everyone should be forced to vote, and if you don't want to, just fill in the "None of the above" bubble. Why do we all have to fill out a census and not a ballot?! The government wants to know all about you, but now what you have to say. Talk about a fallacy. There should also be a "knowledge of the candidates/issues" test that you have to pass, in conjunction with a required vote-- just like for people who want to become US citizens.

I can't wait for the dissolution of the he-man/gay-hater Republicans, and the holier-then-thou Democrats. It's about damn time!

So, screw everyone else because I'm a Libertarian. The best damned party in the world. Why do you think that Badnarik beat out the Green party AND Constition party combined, votewise, to come in a close fourth? Nader only had 17,000 more and that's because he had an sort of 'incumbency' for running a second time. He was also the only 'advertised' third-party candidate.

"LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties."

I had the coolest/weirdest dream last night.

I was BEST friends with John Kerry. I guess we were so close that he went to Paris with me so we could hang out on Monday and Tuesday (ie, day before and day of the election). When he won, someone just called him saying: "Hey! You won!" John: "Well, that's cool."

So, we were getting stalked by two old ladies who wanted to take the first picture of him after he won the election. One was his mother, and the other was Sophia Petrillo (ie, Ma on Golden Girls).

After that, he played the rubberband guitar and sang me a song.
----
I want a friend like that.
